Services
You may be struggling with a particular concern, or simply feel that something keeps getting in the way of the life or relationships you want.
Relationships and repeating patterns
We can explore difficulties with closeness, trust, conflict, expressing your needs, and the ways you respond to others. We can also examine your relationship with yourself, including self-criticism, perfectionism, and feelings of inadequacy.
Emotional difficulties and life changes
My work includes concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief, stress, trauma, chronic illness, infertility, and major life transitions. We will consider what these experiences mean in your life rather than assuming that everyone with a similar concern needs the same approach.
A place to understand what feels stuck
Sometimes a familiar way of coping continues even when it causes pain. Therapy gives us time to understand what that response protects you from, what it costs you, and what makes responding differently difficult.

Finding a place for therapy in your week
My only in-person office is in Stamford, Connecticut. If you live in North Stamford, Greenwich, Darien, New Canaan, Norwalk, or Westport, we can discuss whether coming to Stamford or meeting online is a better fit for your circumstances.
Choosing a therapist involves more than distance. Consider whether you can make room for regular appointments, travel, and a private space to speak. Online psychotherapy is also available for Connecticut and New York residents, subject to eligibility and your location at the time of each session.
